Meet Dezzy Chisulo
Dezzy is a genuine Chitambo lady. She was born at Chitambo Mission and trained in the last intake at the old Chitambo Nurse Training School before it closed in 1992. Her father was famous Chitambo gentleman, Mr Morton Chisulo, who had much influence at Chitambo hospital and in the area. Dezzy is currently undertaking a nursing degree at the University of Bristol. We are very much honoured to have her on board.
Dezzy is kindly sharing her wonderful historic family photos below. It features her esteemed father, Mr. Morton Chisulo (pictured in each photo). Dezzy is the youngest child pictured in the photos on the left. She is not sure who the European lady is (lower left photo), but she wonders if it could be Mrs. Lily Musk, wife of Dr. Chad Musk who was doctor at Chitambo in the 1960s. Can anyone confirm that, or who else it could be? The young European man talking with Dezzy’s Dad (right), was apparently a Danish volunteer. Does anyone recall his name? And who is the other young man in that same photo?
